"Gun activist Anthony Bosworth receives $250 fine for carrying rifle at courthouse."

U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Rodgers called Anthony Bosworth “a man of principle” and said the two years of probation requested by federal prosecutors for a failure-to-comply charge would not serve any purpose. “Nothing I’ve seen, in the facts that are being dealt with here, show any violence or threat of harm to any individual,” Rodgers told Bosworth at a sentencing hearing Wednesday afternoon.

So why the fine?

The level of ignorance displayed in the comments by the Communists on that site are truly amazing. Even now, these mentally deficient libtards still think disarming law abiding citizens is going to somehow make them safer. Stupid infantile retards. Frankly, they all deserve to die.

What a total charade. First the Feral Chief Judge decides to sign a piece of paper stating that the property in question "is now included in the ban" and then shortly after this incident, that ban is "rescinded." PC way of stating that she didn't have the authority to issue this order in the first place, and then they have the audacity to fine a person for legally carrying in a location in which it is permissible to carry. The final slap comes from the magistrate judge saying he's only going to fine him because is essentially did nothing wrong in the first place, except pissed off some PMS'd female judge.

I think this has been paraphrased correctly.

Here's one for the "gun control" crowd. Assuming they DO - somehow - get their way - across the freaking board - and every sale has to go through a FFL and all guns have to be registered and the info kept in a national database. How do they plan to enFORCE it? I want to sell a gun to somebody I trust I'm gonna do so. Period. If we don't TELL em what we do, HOW THE HELL ARE THEY GONNA KNOW?! What makes the dummards think a national version of Connecticut or New York's intolerable acts are going to get higher compliance rates than the two states' versions I mentioned? Talk about magical thinking! Hell's bells! It didn't work in Oz and they don't have our history of revolution and gun ownership. Do they really think the majority of us will simply roll over and present our necks for the jackboots?

I'm glad he only got a slap on the wrist, but let's see if Bosworth will back his words in Arizona that he would rather hang than pay a fine.

The is good news.

I will gladly pay this fine for Anthony.

Found an interesting pic: (conservatives have 200 million guns. If they were violent, you'd know it)
