The ORIGINAL gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters. (As denounced by Bill Clinton on CNN!)
Shite! ... 290 MORE '100 Heads' lists ...Ma Duce
So the hacker was able to accomplish his task after a phone call to and help from one of the departments he hacked. Incredible.
When my kids were little I would see those baskets on chairs that people put outside their doors on Halloween if they didn't want to get up every five minutes. The sign usually said "Take One Piece". By the time we showed up everything was gone.We need a lot more of this. A lot more. There's bound to be some of these talents that don't belong to the leftists.
Perfect example of Social Engineering had how easy it is to get the government to give up it's own secrets. The .GOV is far too large to defend it's own digital infrastructure.Idiots.
I always say: " I wish I'd have learned computers and hacking instead of how to shoot. It's far more effective at this point in time"..
We need more of this? I agree - we need more HONESTY out of our government - and that requires less secrecy FAR less secrecy. Secrecy is where the nefarious market their wares. It is also one place government actors divide We The People and too many FUDDS take that bait. Here is an example. Carry lists. Government creates these REGISTRIES and FUDDS demand they be kept secret, set aside from FOIA law. The same is true for purchases. Fellas, gals, ummmm, stop doing the grabbers work FOR THEM in advocating these lists be kept secret! Demand they be PUBLIC! Each and every LIST - make then PUBLIC RECORD! Why? Because then, the 'important people' won't be able to play anti gun while they have a permit. They will be against the permission lists if they cannot hide them. The exact same thing is true about this FBI list here. When the CAUSE is JUST.....there is no reason to hide. Government that hides from its people cannot be defined as GOOD. Or Just.
After Oregon wouldn't this be nice.
I'll soon be taking the test for the CompTIA Security+ certification and in our studies, you'd be shocked to see just how many government agencies and large companies, schools and banks are hacked damn near on a daily basis...including NASA.Scary thing is, from one or two reports I've seen, about 75% of the hacks are from inside jobs...people who know the system, are generally trusted, and know all of it's weaknesses. Many White Hat and Gray Hat hackers have tried to tell these jackasses where their weakness are, but everyone knows just how swiftly the bigwigs respond....
Would a fool ignore the wealth of intelligence value these lists represent, but I wonder if this may also be an easy bait to install viruses and malware.. Scan them first before opening..Caution is merited, but know all you can about those who will kill you in an instant for their masters is nothing to be overlooked.Sign Me, Neal Jensen
Uncle Elmo said... quote: "So the hacker was able to accomplish his task after a phone call to and help from one of the departments he hacked. Incredible."unquote As if that wasn't funny enough, the hacked DHS “database” was a garden-variety MS Exchange Global Address List. I bet the hackers were rolling on the floor in gut splitting laughter. Moreover, today they published the lists. I've got $25 that says heads are exploding at DHS/FBI, ....notwithstanding NSA. In fact, I'd submit some heads are rolling there. Congressional bitchslapping hearings coming in....5..4...3....2...
Those help desk people need to be fired without mercy, immediately. Every person in IT knows that you don't hand out codes to circumvent the 2 factor logins. Convenience and Security do not mix.
