Made it to Hattiesburg last night.

Up late and must be on road by 0500. The pesky wound in my back, thought to be healed, has chosen this occasion to break open yet again and is draining copiously. Crap. Oh well. Slapped a dressing on it, drinking water (or to be specific, hot tea) and driving on. See y'all in San Antone. Keep me in your prayers. I'll have more posts, perhaps, but much later. I've given you plenty to read yesterday in any case. Dutchman6 out.

Anonymous said...: Mike, if that open wound's failure to heal is diabetes related, try using honey or sugar on the inside of your dressings. You can put a ring of Vaseline around the sweet stuff to make things less messy. You should experience much faster healing.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done. The Founders' Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.

But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
