Random thought occurred to me the other day. I know it is difficult to make precise parallels, but would anyone on the ground as part of Task Force Ranger in Bakara Market have made it out alive if the OpFor had been CONUS FreeFor instead of Skinnies? I get the idea that The Planners are planning based on something they have no way to predict, in part due to organizational arrogance, and in part do to the absence of truly applicable data. Discuss.
I like the photo. Blue helmets are one of my own personal trip wires. Light blue helmets and berets are fine targets. And so is any one who takes their part, offering any support of any kind.
