Logistics: Is supply catching up with demand?

Ammo's out there. I know it for fact, I've seen it.

It may be out there but supply and demand still have prices up.

Since I didn't own anything to launch 5.56/.223 a year ago I didn't pay attention to its price.

I asked friends and they could buy budget Federal for around 35 cents a round then. Now it's all over 50 cents per.

Not where I live it isn't, the shelves are bare, except for Remington brass in 458 win, 270 and 7mm. Of course I wouldn't pay a nickel for any of their products.

Powder is gone too, even the crap people don't buy as a rule. Everything else is completely unreasonable and to be fair it's simply gouging and everybody knows it, except the simple asses that are buying it up.

I gave up wasting my gas and time. I'm told that there are still lines before the stores open on certain days. I'll save my money until they have something to buy at a reasonable price, instead of wetting my diapers.

I was at Knob Creek today. Ammo was pricey compared to the last time I bought some but the range sure was busy & LOUD.

In the Houston area .556 is still going for more than a dollar a round.

Our LGS has 7.62 X 39 for $7.49/20 and .223 for $14.99/20. So, it's out there, but at 1.5X to 2X normal price.
No pistol or .22lr to be seen yet.

my local Gang-banger says it is in full supply - most every unattended house he robbs has heaps!

The down-side is that some of his 'bros' have tried robbing occupied houses and have been gunned down by armed owners.

He asks: "When are the guns going to be banned?"

I saw 'Big Foot' heading out of a Gun Shop with a can of 5.56 in each hand ... yesterday.

I seen it!
