"Why does this matter? Because in effect, the anti-Constitution states are disarming themselves by expatriating weapons manufacturers. Thus, they are eliminating their own weapons infrastructure and leaving themselves relatively defenseless should a civil war occur."
Later: Texas seems to be one beneficiary. See Riflemaker Colt Competition Moves Operations To Texas and here.

What he fails to mention is the large military presence in Texas which is protecting those refineries: infantry, armor AND aircraft. Lots of potential Ft. Sumpters that mustn't happen.
Finally some good news! When the civil war starts, this will take the "pray", out of "spray and pray". Pro-guns rights supporters won't be as reluctant to put their heads up from a hidey hole, knowing the other side is only armed with scissors.
look deeper....
manufacturing of weapons and ammunition in 2A friendly states is an important first step...but where do they get their raw materials??
i know. since i work there, the huge majority of nitrocellulose used in the gunpowder used by every ammo manufacturer is made in virginia.
folks, if we are going to have a chance of winning our freedon back, we need to figure out how to move ALL the resources including the raw materials, to friendly states.

Speaking of civil wars - the natives grow restless...

This one bears watching as well.
This is a very positive development. Gun haters need to live somewhere too. Let's get these companies in states that support RKBA and let the gun haters rot in their crime-ridden Hell.
After a while even they may figure it out...
'when the civil war starts...'
Well, assuming the 'constitutional' states are homogeneously so (they are not and will have there own lil' wars first), then the relocated factories are nice fat targets for the Unionist states' drones.
Civil war, these days, in the great USA, is a fantasy. Even Texas needs New York and California markets.
Have a good one.

I disagree. There are far more markets for things and resources that will be produced in states without the damned EPA, DOE, Sierra Club, etc. Alaska alone could produce a whopping amount of zinc for the world as well as coal and timber but the enviro-nuts and the Feds prevent it.
We'd be better off without them.
If Civil War II comes, the states than can build drone swarms are going to be in a far better place than the ones that are still trying to put rifles from our grandfathers' day into the hands of irreplacable patriots.
Full-on CWII, if it comes, will be the world-changing catastrophe of WWI all over again. Horses and napoleonic bayonet charges going in.... something entirely unrecognizable coming out.
Retarded. You really think that firearms/crew served/explosives/etc. are a product exclusive to the US? If/when it goes down, there will be plenty of Russian, Chinese, Eastern Block items cheap to government buyers.
