Become a smuggler. Funny, isn't it, that the more things change, the more they remain the same? Smuggling as patriotic resistance to tyranny.

Somewhere on the coast of Connecticut, early 1775.
Politico reports that the collectivists in charge of local and state governments are Using sales taxes as a gun control tool.
I am currently reading (in my insomniac hours) Smuggler Nation: How Illicit Trade Made America.
It is amazing to me how much, given current events, that the more things change, the more they remain the same. I will have a review when I am finished, but for now I would just like to observe that this country was born with the idea of the smuggler as a patriotic resistance fighter against government tyranny and these collectivist pukes are resurrecting that idea for us today. Let us each resolve to smuggle into states like Colorado and Connecticut and jurisdictions like Cook County as many of the forbidden items as possible.

How does one start out to become a smuggler? How do you make the necessary connections with private citizens in need -versus- Gubbment thugs, provacateurs and double agents who will get you arrested, even killed??
It would be an interesting second career for a retired person.

It made the Kennedy s rich .

If memory serves that is how Joe Kennedy got rich.

I do have a terrible suspicion that if people do begin smuggling prohibited items into states like Colorado and Connecticut and jurisdictions like Cook County that the collectivist pukes will respond with checkpoints like the Border Patrol has near the border with Mexico.

Anybody expect SCOTUS - even as currently constituted - to argue? Me neither.

Why "smuggle" - with attendant risks - when you can "roll your own" in the basement, or garage ? Seems the "Feddie" has landed its jackbooted heels upon the young Texan offering the means to "printing" magazines and, (perhaps) AR lowers. But that particular genie has long ago escaped the lamp. All this gentleman has done is put the means in more digital terms ! >Jeff

Can enough 'standard capacity' magazines be smuggled in to barricade the legislators in until they repeal this legislation?

Loaded mags would be harder to remove!

Smuggle, Bury, Relocate, Vote.. all this things are is a distraction from what we all know we should be doing.
