Chuck the Schmuck offers his helpful advice to retailers.

Schumer: Retailers Should Suspend Some Gun Sales.
Sen. Charles Schumer says retailers that sell assault weapons should stop offering them for purchase while Congress discusses gun regulation legislation.
Schumer on Sunday released a letter he sent to major retailers asking for a voluntary moratorium.
The New York Democrat says consumer demand for guns has gone up in the weeks since the December mass shooting in Newtown, Conn.
Schumer says Congress is debating the issue, and if measures get passed that limit these type of weapons, it won't help if more of them have recently been sold.
Won't help who, Chuck? You or us?

The first one has already folded. Wal-Mart has stopped buying ammo to replace what they have sold.

How would this matter? there are none to buy. Nor is it very likely that there will be any untill Obama leaves office.

Yeah Chuck, let the retailors eat the losses when the jack-booted thugs come around to confiscate the firearms. Shumer's statement effectively demonstrates how out-of-touch Washington really is. America and it's government, is starting to look like the reign of King Louis XV1, in pre-revolutionary France.

"It won't help" why? Because there will that many more that Uncle Chuck will have to try to confiscate?

Oh my, is Chuckie going to help pay pay the bills? How about the employees of these stores? Is the Judenrat going to help them out?
Most of the places that sell the modern sporting rifles have stopped selling them because they are sold out and don't know when they will get some more.

I wish Chuckie the psycho doll would piss off the Russians enough to receive some polonium in his under 16 oz. drink. POS.

Shumer: "....it won't help if more of them have recently been sold." That statement indicates that Shumer plans on not having a grandfather clause on ownership. No grandfather clause indicates the SOB wants, (and will receive) a civil war. It just doesn't get any more plain than that! I've always felt that there was enough space between his ears for a satellite to orbit, but this is breathtaking.

Here's what is purported to be the text of Schumer's letter to retailers.

In a sad way, I don't entirely blame Walmart and the others who are rolling over. A "request" letter from a US senator to suspend sales while he and his cronies decide on the "specific legislative approaches" is a thinly veiled threat to hit them with a nice, punitive ex post facto law and: the more you sell, the harder we'll hit you.

Meanwhile, Gov. Cuomo and his fellow travelers in the NY Legislature have come us with a closed door proposal to limit mags to 7 rounds, further restrict "assault weapons" and to refine the rules regarding civil confinement of "those who are determined to be a threat to those around them." http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Gun-Control-Assault-Weapons-Ban-Magazines-Limit-Cuomo-NY-186794151.html

Glad I don't live in the socialist shithole.

Why do we need assault weapons?

Why do we need 30 round magazines?

Because there are and always will be people like Chuck Schumer.

Not trying to stick up for Walmart, but I do work for them in a low low position. The company is pure capitalist. They're going for money. Honestly they don't care whatever happens in the nation so long as they make money. It makes me think that Biden and Co. let something be known about how they were changing ammunition rules etc. If they're going to require some sort of FFL to deal in ammo, Walmart wouldn't want a large on hand stock if the process was too difficult or expensive to for them to continue ammo sales. They're still ordering firearms to my knowledge. I will see if I can't dig anything out tonight at work.

The Schmuck is the precise reason folks are buying up everything that might go bang. We don't trust him or his kind.

I'd much rather have my children protected by an armed defender than a "GFZ" or "Whacko Maginet", if you prefer.

Tim-The WalMart story is just that: A story, spreading across the interwebs like wildfire without one iota of fact to back it up. Wallyworld reorders by computer based on what its sold at any given branch. The story started when a manager tried to order ammo manually and was refused. They have very little in their distribution centers, everything is on backorder, so how can you special order something that doesn't exist? The supply pipeline is empty, and it's going to take a whole lot of bustin' ass by the manufacturers to get it pumping again, something they may be unwilling to do until we find out if King Numbnuts the First really wants to start CWIII or not.

I’ll agree with Sen Schumer if, in kind, he stops breathing until we can get a handle on Climate Change.

Let other retailers make the money that WalMart and Dick's Sporting Goods do not appear to need.

It is easy for Chuckie to advise someone not to sell something, as it does not affect his personal earnings in any way. For a retailer, if you are not selling at a profit, then you are losing money because of the cost of your overhead and eventually will go out of business. Do not ever expect someone in government to understand that concept, because their primary reason for your existence is as a source of tax income. Your going out of business will be blamed on your mismanagement, not on their policy decisions.

This country needs a reset. I vote we start with asshole Schumer.

BTW, why do they call us angry white men?
They're the ones that always look like they need a good dose of Metamucil.

Hey Schmuckey, we're not angry. We're just resolved, and very close to being 'Absolved'.
