A Glimpse Inside the Romney Campaign.

Romney's the boss, and that bodes ill for the country. Understand one thing: if Romney wins he will have done so despite the conservative wing of his party. He will owe them nothing. Indeed, he will have done so by characteristically and uncomfortably adopting conservative themes -- and from reading this you can bet he resents it. Thus, it is easy to predict that people who vote based on "anybody but Obama" will come to regret it. Romney is perhaps even more unprincipled than Obama, and he will be more effective in demonstrating his displeasure at people he resents and owes nothing to.

I do not see Romney intentionally alienating any sector of the Republican Party. I see him engaging in Jerry Brown's "canoeing". Paddle a little on the left; then paddle a little on the right. All candidates see themselves as two term presidents. Do I like him? Do I like having stepped in dog shit and tracking it on the living room rug?

Mitt Romney will have some advisers around him with conservative ideas and he's proven he can be influenced to change his mind from terrible ideas toward better ones, i.e., toward more freedom for We The People. He'll have the opportunity, if President, to pick maybe 2 supreme court justices and one or both might be Constitution oriented.

With BHO re-elected for 4 more, none of the above will occur and I'll guarantee that.

Jesus Christ is not on the ballot so it is our duty as American citizens to choose the lesser of the evils. Some good may come from a Romney, no good will come from Barry Soetoro.

Your assessment now is much like mine was earlier this year. But I've come to see Obama will double-down on his revolutionary antics if given a second term. So, today I suspect it would be better to cut off the Obama team in progress. It buys some time.

Romney's no better, but at least he's starting fresh. And I expect a crumbling American economy may undo many of the big plans he has.

It appears there's no good, viable choice this year. And it's hard to say what the country will look like another four years out.

SO, would you rather that Obama wins a second term? As you go to war with the army that you have, you also go to the election with the nominee that you have.

Romney understands one thing, that we exist and will not be ignored and that we understand what is happening.

Obama also understands this but he is a committed MARXIST and so are his friends in congress and the senate, which is why we are in crisis and losing our country, our rights and everything that distinguishes us from what has been the history throughout the rest of the world.

This is the reason why the Marxist media got him elected and want him re-elected. But they will throw him under the bus if any significant blame attaches to them, which is why you are seeing them de-link to a certain extent. They realize that their will now ensue ramifications and consequences and they wish to avoid them and remain within striking distance of power, so that they can do this all over again the next time.

This IS a conspiracy of the left to seize power and your freedom and your dreams and aspirations, and to then convert them to their use, for their benefit.

Romney is not this and has indicated that at least he will fight. The rest of them obviously won't and have to change their diapers 5 times a day if there is the least little "controversy."

They are useless bags of excrement and the speaker's office is a sewer that can be smelled worldwide.

I don't like Mitt on bit. However, the Cabal has rammed through these choices this year:

One is a radical, racist, big-govt anti-American Socialist dog-eater hell-bent into turning America into a 3rd-world nation.

The other is your typical un-empathizing big-govt old money Socialist.

A Barry win means that America loses. The Left will gloat and the Right will be very unhappy.

A Mitt win means that America still loses, but the Left will be pissed as hell.

As for me, I'd rather have a president that I can't stand and the Left be pissed, than have a president I can't stand and have the Left gloating for 4 more years.

I think all ballots everywhere should have an option to select "None of the Above".

What? You mean we the people actually get to decide who becomes President?

Oh wait... for a minute there I was dreaming...

Never mind.

This election season doesn't leave me with a lot of hope. Between people taking Gingrich seriously and this Romney "anyone but Obama" campaign, politics seems to have little to do with government anymore and far more to do with party and media. I'll be writing in Ron Paul this year, and will be giving some consideration to Gary Johnson after Ron Paul retires.

As I remarked to a coworker while we watched the CBS news this morning, where the Dems' talking head was doing his best to make it sound like there wasn't a lick of difference between Barry and Mitt (as far as policies go), I pointed out that at least Mitt doesn't surround himself with a bunch of REAL card-carrying commies!

Romney is a RINO, but he's still a better choice than the pathologically narcissistic, muslim, marxist who is hell bent on seeing the United States totally Destroyed. barry soetoro is evil personified and anybody BUT barry IS a better choice. If you sit home and don't vote cause Romney's not conservative enough abd barry wins, then IMO you're as responsible for barry winning as those who voted for him. That would make you part of the problem, Not part of the solution.

bondmen: "Jesus Christ is not on the ballot so it is our duty as American citizens to choose the lesser of the evils" — How has that "voting for the lesser of two evils" stuff worked out for you? You neglected to explain how a duplicitous, anti-gun, Constitution-disdaining, neocon chickenhawk is "less evil" than a duplicitous, anti-gun, Constitution-disdaining, liberal Democrat.

Right on ! Unfortuately I think the republic is toast and the fighting in the street is just around the corner. I pray I'm wrong on both points. Untill then, Got Militia ?

A second Obama presidency will kill the Fast and Furious scandal as if it did not exist. Eric Holder and Hillary Clinton will spend the rest of their lives on the Supreme Court. Nothing anyone can say about Romney's choices can match. It is hard to imagine how Gore or Kerry would have been different from Obama - and yet - a man of faith who defeated them has been disparaged continually by an out of control left that would bring the worst of European socialism to a reality here.

WE have no say so about who is going to be POTUS.

Why do we persist in this fantasy? It's like fantasy football. Irrelevant but fun, to a point, I guess...
