Congressman Chaffetz on Greta: "Where do the lies end and the truth begins?"

Well, gee, I dunno Congressman, but since you have Mitt Romney's ear, why don't you ask HIM.

Lying rinos all, the fix has been in from the first.

Chaffez: "And until the country gets outraged..." signals that House Republicans are afraid there is no political support for contempt procedings.

Van Susteren: "[I]f your subpoena doesn't get answered, if your letters don't get answered, if you get the attorney general down there and he doesn't answer the questions -- I mean, really, the ball's in your court, if you want to do something!"

This highlights the problem. If the House of Representatives cannot demonstrate their resolve to crack open this cover-up, no one will back them. Congress does not need Holder's cooperation to procede with their contempt resolution, they only need fortitude.

We are witnessing among Republicans the same pusillanimous spirit that John McCain exhibited in his failed bid for the Presidency. Have these feckless limp-wrists learned nothing?!

Just push and then wait for the push-back. It's political skirmishing--the action is in the reaction.

MALTHUS - you pretty well nailed it. weepy doesn't have any desire to pursue this, perhaps Chaffetz does but without support from his 'superiors' he will not succeed. Particularly when obama/holder are still getting cover from the media. There was a guy on Fox this afternoon playing 'apologist' using the there was nothing wrong with what happened and it (the hearings etc) was just a witch hunt and/or a fishing expedition cuz the evil republicans hate obama etc....
Our real hope is that the blogosphere gets some definitive 'leaks' and enough of main stream America actually wakes up.
Meanwhile - time to go to a gun show and stock up on more ammo....

Romney is just as spineless and just as much of a turd-eating worm as Boner. We need to take a page from our black friends here; No justice, no peace.

And now, the sterling public servant Eric Holder has named two prosecuting attorneys (one from DC one from Maryland - what? Virginia has too many free citizens?) to investigate -- Congress.

I think I heard a horse whinnying in the Senate chambers.

God bless.
