A congressional probe into the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ “Project Gunrunner” controversy will not be stalled or derailed by the Justice Department’s assertion that it cannot hand over all documents sought by an April 1 subpoena, a congressional committee spokesman indicated to this column late yesterday.

School-yard one-upsmanship!
Issa: I want to see those documents
BATFE: We're working on it.
Issa: Now I'm demanding those documents!
BATFE: Okay, okay, we're gonna send them to you, but we can't give you everything.
Issa: Don't give me that shit! Do you know who I am?
BATFE: Do you know who Eric Holder is?
Now we're waiting on Issa's next response. How long can this continue? Maybe in time for the 2012 elections? Who knows?
Perhaps the cat will piss on them...
As I have said before, just exactly why would ANYONE expect this Administration and its toadies to comply with ANY subpoena? If they tell Issa to pound sand, WHAT is he going to do? Sic "Law Enforcement" on them? But "Law Enforcement" WORK for The One and his bootlickers. They bow and scrape before their Masters and then do WHATEVER they are told. Civil war is not far off. We will NOT get to 2012 before it starts.
The stench is overwhelming. And it smells like pig.
Congress CAN hold them in contempt, and use the power of arrest. The mechanism is there, and there's little the liars can do about it.
It just takes some balls.
"It just takes some balls." Exactly! Now, if any can be located in Congress, maybe something will happen. Don't hold your breath.
Arrest? Why, that would dampen the collegiality of the august institutions. We could never harm that....
