If it is on television, it must be true.

Great - now you have a local Fox affiliate covering the store. Forward this and the other materials to other members of the mainstream media. The fact that Fox ran this story gives credibility to it in the view of reporters new to the story. Senator Grassley letters + Fox story = more coverage and press attention in the next week or two.

It is gratifying to see this on a network-affiliated local news show.

I expect ATF and White House bowels are already loosening and heads will start exploding no later than Friday and probably earlier.

My, My, My....

Well, let's see if even Fox News decides this is worthy of reporting.

I almost want to take bets because I can't tell any longer where they are with that fair and balanced thing.

I sent the following note to Jeff Sessions, our junior Alabama Senator and ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee:

Senator Sessions, I understand that the Judiciary Committee will hold hearings on the BATFE. I urge that you pursue a vigorous investigation into the actions of the BATFE, and in particular the perjurous testimony presented by agents of the BATFE that have resulted in conviction and imprisonment of innocent Americans, such as David Olofson. Currently, it appears that the BATFE may have been instrumental in facilitating movement of firearms to Mexico, including the rifle that killed Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry. This Agency has been responsible for many atrocities in the past several decades and it is time for the outrages to be exposed. It is also time for its role in law enforcement to be carefully examined and possibly changed.
