The gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters. (As denounced by Bill Clinton on CNN!)
The next to last sentence in that quote is the key. I wonder if WE have the will to use them!
maybe, but back then they didn't have the whole worlds army availible to them...
Great cliche. Too bad it isn't true. I hate to break it to you, but Hitler had things that make Mausers look like Tinker Toys and he was not afraid to use them.
The late , great Aaron Zelman was absoultely right and "anonymous -great cliche" is not. Mausers from the turn of the century were used by many of the Wehrmacht soldiers as primary and secondary weapons particularly when more advanced fully auto weaponry were in short supply. These older long rifles where also widely spread with the citizenry via the black market, enough to make a difference, had the people only understood they could have made a difference."The will to use it..." i.e., the sheer chosen determination to overcome no matter what the cost or the apparently superior foe that was faced will always trump mere numbers or odds. History supports this, (the 300 Spartans, William Wallace, and our very own Minutemen Three-percenter Patriots of 1776). But so few sheeple realize this long before it is nearly too late, and their fates sealed by ignorance, denial and loss of morale. It is often only a relative mere fractional handful, of those that would enslave the whole, such as in the Russian Bolshevik Revolution or Castro's Cuba , but unfortunately the people were largely already disarmed, and kept in the dark, much to the perpetrators greatest of advantage.“The will to survive is not as important as the will to prevail~ LtC.John "Jeff" Cooper, USMC:1920-2006"Resist" as AP so succinctly puts it.
