I knew that last chapter would get their attention. I become an official counter-terror subject. Pinch me, I'm dreaming.

Folks,

I have just been forwarded a pdf copy of a report by the Kansas City Regional Terrorism Early Warning Group. I suppose I should be interested in it for its subject is, well, me.

As I am too technologically unsophisticated to post the pdf, let me transcribe it for you here while waiting for other more talented folks to do so.

Novel by Mike Vanderboegh

(U/FOUO) Mike Vanderboegh, a militia enthusiast and co-founder of a gun rights organization, is authoring a novella titled, Absolved. Absolved is a fictional account of gun owners and militias resisting government attempts to confiscate firearms. The novella describes, in detail, numerous battles with law enforcement and attacks on government facilities. With 20 chapters, Absolved was started several years ago and new chapters are added periodically. Upon completion of a new chapter, Vanderboegh posts the work on his blog, which appears to have a large following of supporters. Several tactics used by the fictional groups in the book are suicide airplane attacks on government buildings, electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) attacks on law enforcement computer systems, acquisition of military equipment for assaults on government and police facilities, and assassinations of federal agents and police. Vanderboegh goes into great detail describing unprecedented attack methods and how they could be effective in thwarting a raid by law enforcement.

(MBV: Here they have a picture of me speaking at Guilford Court House NBP and the original cover of Absolved from the net.)

One chapter in particular, Vanderboegh details an assault on the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center (MIOC). The MIOC is a fusion center, like the KCTEW, which is attacked by militia members using an EMP, paratroopers and armored vehicles. Fusion centers are mistakenly believed by many to contain databases of gun owners and other non-criminal information for use in times of gun confiscation or martial law.

The following is a quote from the "Introduction" chapter of Absolved, where Vanderboegh justifies the harsh and graphic content of the novella.

"In this, I am frankly writing as much a cautionary tale for the out-of-control gun cops of the ATF as anyone. For that warning to be credible, I must also present what amounts to a combination field manual, technical manual and call to arms for my beloved gunnies of the armed citizenry. They need to know how powerful they could truly be if they were pushed into a corner."

Vanderboegh is a strong believer in a government lan to take away firearms. A group co-founded by Vanderboegh called the "Three Percenters", vow to reject any new gun laws introduced by the U.S. government. "Three Perenters" liken themselves to soldiers in the Revolutionary war. The name refers to the fact that only three percent of colonists took up arms against British tyranny. Vanderboegh has also been attributed to the incidents of vandalism to several Democratic Party headquarters in early 2010. Vanderboegh, via his blog, encouraged people upset at the passage of the health care reform bill to break windows of party headquarters buildings.

(MBV: Here they have illustrations of the Nyberg flag and the original III with the hand holding up three fingers.)

Vanderboegh's novella is very similar in nature to a 1978 novella, The Turner Diaries. In The Turner Diaries, an overthrow of the U.S. government and race war was depicted. The novella became, and is still considered, a staple of anti-government, racist rhetoric. Timothy McVeigh was an avid reader of The Turner Diaries and was possibly motivated by its content to conduct his attack on the Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building.

(MBV: Bastards. "Very similar"? Yeah, except the whole race war terrorism thing where the Nazis win in the end and fantasize about hanging "race traitors" like me. Yeah, all except for that. Here's the main difference. Pierce was trying to start a war, I'm trying to prevent one.)

KCTEW Analyst Note: The stories told by Vanderboegh show that many in the U.S. harbor a belief that the U.S. government is planning, or will plan, a confiscation of firearms from law-abiding citizens. The degree to which he glorifies the killing of law enforcement personnel involved in fictional gun raids also shows the extent many will go to spread their ideology. Vanderboegh's and other works of literature have the possibility to inspire those with extremist beliefs to carry out similar attacks depicted in the writings.

It should be noted that possession of, reading of, or espousing support for extremist forms of literature does not solely indicate an intention to conduct a terrorist act, nor is membership in the "Three Percenters" or similar organizations a sole indication of terrorist activity.

Of course, after I transcribed the above, Pete got back to me with this link for the pdf.

hmmm

One might counter that statement with:
The degree to which the fedgov will rationalize their efforts to malign freedom loving people shows the extent they will go to spread their ideology.

Would it be improper to say, "Congratulations"? We know they're making a list and checking it twice and not looking for anyone they'd consider 'nice'. After all, 'Tis the Night Before the Revolution- or something like that.
Gee- do they totally skip over the historical facts? Or are they contemplating a rewrite of history here, too? And, gosh- I haven't read any parts that 'glorify the killing of law enforcement people. If anything, you're indicating a reluctance for such- and they apply the straw that broke the camel's back.
Notice, too, they remark that posession or supporting such literature isn't indicative of a terrorist attitude, but they completely missed indicating that writing of same is also not an act of terrorism.
Well, it wasn't- it may be now with the Dark Lord in office.
Seriously, Mike- watch your six but most, trust in the Lord to have His plans for you fulfilled.

I like the disclaimer at the end of the evaluation.Could´t copie and paste but what it says in short is that being affiliated with the 3%ers is not a indication of being involved in terrorism.
But for some reason I don´t think that that is what they mean. We all know that they TPTB are watching everything and everybody that Dares to speak out against their big guberment and commie agenda. Threepers, Resorationists, sorry about the repetition, Constitutionalists, there I go again, even Grandma at the Tea Party. Dam´n and I thought I was getting paranoid. And did you notice there they went again blaming other people for Timothy McVeigh when it was them that created what he became, he was reacting to what they did at the Branch Davidian. I wonder when one of these risk assessments will one day take a look at the terrorists in their own ranks.

Speaking of "Absolved," do you have any idea when it'll be out?

Not many of their specific allegations are actually true, at least in the chapters I've read.

Aircraft attacks on government buildings? Not unless Blackwater is a government.

Killings of police?
All I can remember is a couple of DC Metro cops who got in the way by accident. The other dead cops were killed by criminals on the fedgov's team.

Oh, I see that SPLC wrote this. That explains why the lies outnumber the truths by a wide margin.

Hey Mike, ever think of suing for slander? They can't claim the lies were an accident.

Brock Townsend said...

Oh, please, they list the $PLC as one of their three sources! Just unbelievable.

Here is the kicker for the morons. If you do not come for our guns, there more than likely will not be a problem. But here is the other kicker ... history has repeatedly warned us, that with each piece of anti-keep and bear arms shall not be infringed legislation ... it is inevitable that they WILL come for our guns.

Now, note we are just talking about guns here.

We'll see just how far you assholes want to go with the ObamaCare. How far you want to push, prod, probe that piece of crap until you finally kill someone who just wants nothing to do with that anti-constitutional garbage and left alone.

You people are just absolutely pathetic. I have no doubt in my mind that Mark Potok is greasing your arses potok'ing you while chanting ... "Give us more Mark!"

Yeah, I know you pathetic creatures ... there has never been a time throughout history that some government security operative did not deserved a shotgun shoved up their arse and the trigger pulled ... why, that is just because you are all Saints and doing Gods work. You think you all fit right into Romans 13.

Key words in CAPS: I read this as meaning such activities mentioned are simply ONE among OTHER indicators.

Free Speech is free only when you agree.

So I guess that being a visitor to your pages is okay and that no one will be interested in me, eh? I also guess that the scum who abducted the baby from the man who was "said to belong to the Oathkeepers" do not read the reports from the KCTEW.

We should all hope to be on a list like this. You can't be thought of as serious unless the big biys have you on their shit list, now can you?

Well, you've apparently captured their attention enough for them to begin a propaganda campaign against you directly and by contact, most of the rest of we real Americans.

This is illustrative of the extent that state law enforcement's being bribed or outright bought by the US government.

This is not a surprise to me, hopefully, it's not a surprise to anyone else.

It's going to get way worse, folks.

First of all, let me say that the quality of these so-called "analyses" are less than I would expect from an undergraduate review of available literature.

It is superficial, betraying no understanding of the material only its stereotypes. This is valuable to the Good Guys since it means these pinheads really are a stupid as they seem.

Secondly, they do not comprehend what they are actually saying and, implicitly, what they believe to be true.

Their implicit belief (explicit?) is that they are somehow "anointed" to "rule" justified by a "democracy" that somehow would excise the voice of the people themselves from consideration by the Anointed Ones.

One might reasonably assume such a dislocation from reality to be similar to psychosis.

Of course we know that it is mere solipsism and that means these bastards have a huge, gaping blind spot that guarantees their failure, a la the USSR in 1991 or the Austro-Hungarian Empire. "Big Brother" is mainly a theatrical construct, effective only so long as the Sheople suspend disbelief.

However, thanks to the Tea Party and other marginalized groups with independent viewpoints the facade is collapsing as we speak (and Mike you are far too hard on the race realists because of your own personal situation - you ought to rise above that if only for a clear-headed analysis).

I think we are living in a period akin to that described by Dickens in "A Tale of Two Cities" and we await merely the killing of an innocent to start the payback to an arrogant pseudoaristocracy.

If they want to bring the guns out for nothing more than refusing to abide by this piece of unconstitutional crap ... then I say all bets are off and let the frikkin fireworks begin.

And this has nothing to do with the "No Ft. Sumpters" mantra. There has to come a time in every mans life an act of defiance, to stand his ground, and principled enough to not back down, whether it is an act of sacrifice or an act of self defense of his principles.

The bad news is that they are obviously preparing the masses for when they decide to "crack down" on us "right wing extremists."

The other bad news (especially for Mike) is that he'll obviously be one of the first to go.

The good news (sort of) is that the rest of us will have a tiny bit of warning. When Mike gets taken down by force, and the media jumps all over it, we'll know that the restoration of the Constitution is imminent. (My apologies to you, Mike, but we've gotta look for the optimism in everything. Many of us will die from this machine, and unfortunately, you'll likely be one of the first.)

By the way, since apparently NOT buying health insurance has an effect on interstate commerce, and can therefore be compelled under their interpretation of the Commerce Clause... let's extrapolate.

Voting also has an effect on interstate commerce... therefore, you MUST vote democrat(or republican, or anything else for that matter). It's for the children, don't you see? And the Constitution strictly authorizes them to mandate your vote via the Commerce Clause. See where that line of reasoning gets you?

It gets Hitler 2.0 voted in on 100% of the vote... It gets you shackled in chains if you're lucky. And it gets you killed if you aren't.

If they can legally force us to buy healthcare b/c it affects interstate commerce, there's literally next to nothing they CAN'T force us to buy.

Unfortunately, if you're not self-employed, it's going to be next to impossible (from my understanding) to 'opt out' of Obamacare's tax. If you refuse to have insurance and refuse to pay the fine, they'll just take it out of your tax return at the end of the year (assuming that like me, you're still paying the rest of your taxes).

Besides, I guaran-damn-tee you that the media will NOT tell anyone that you refused to pay your Obamacare tax when there's the inevitable stand off. They'll just tell the sheeple that you were a dirty tax evader and you and yours deserved what you got when they kill your whole family. That'll be enough for most of the sheep to demonize you.

FUCK THAT. If these assholes wanna start a fight.....let's finish it.

Hell's Bell's! Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's not raining! Have they forgot the confiscations after Katrina and at the Governor's discretion in NC? Law abiding Citizens haven't.

If these NKVD like goons wonder why "many in the US" harbor such belief, they better do a close reading of all the Bill Of Rights, and remember that the 2nd is the teeth and claws of the rest of 'em.

We agree more than you know. My comment about complying under force of arms was a statement of fact from their perspective. If we do NOT comply, the ultimate end of their force of action is the use of arms against those of us that resist every step taken. Your saying of "We will have to do no such thing," is the answer to their rules, regulations and enforcement.

I wasn't saying that we have to comply, just that our expected response is to do so.

Semantics, I think....

I feel guilty about killing a spider that had built its web across the door we use most. It didn't understand about doors and freedom, just catching and eating bugs attracted to the porch light. Usually I catch the spiders and let them go in the woods, but this was a big, fast one with large pincers.
The spider had sense enough to try to get away when confronted with something larger and deadlier than itself. I didn't let it, because I was afraid it would just come back and one of us would walk into its web and get bitten.
I felt guilty killing three separate copperheads that invaded our yard. They don't understand about property lines. I apologized as I hacked them with a machete.
Human beings understand boundaries. They comprehend warnings. If they choose to ignore them and behave like the lower predators, no sympathy.

"a confiscation of firearms from law-abiding citizens." put

This wording is no accident. I believe completely that they have no plans to do this, and most likely never will do this on any large scale. Yest, they do have plans, or at least wishes, to confiscate nearly all guns from private hands.

Hitler never one broke the law after the 1924 putsch.

It's all about the stories they tell. This is about corrupting the minds and thought processes of the average person and those who aren't failure with what is transpiring in our country.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights, are just words to be used when you need to convince people that you are on their side. GCA 68 proves that.

The whole problem here is that we are about to not "submit" anymore and they know it and want to control our demise in the public eye. They will of course be the one's wearing the superman cape.

Good work on grabbing the attention of TPTB, and attracting many, many, many followers who feel the same way. This is, after all, a design feature and not a flaw. Let the ferals see how many of us there are, dispersed over all 50 states in units of 1 or several, in every profession and every age group, made up of honest and patriotic people of every race, religion and ethnic group, and maybe, just maybe, the ferals will back off a bit.

If they don't, then a lot of Matt Bracken's 15 million deer hunters, toting scoped, bolt-action rifles that can hit a pie plate at 500 yards, will be among their opponents - coming at them from every direction, many trained by Uncle Sam's Misguided Children and similar organizations.
