These mokes better pray that this tyranny gets settled in the courts.

If not, it will be settled in the streets -- with copper-jacketed lead.

And so we continue the (inexorable?) march towards civil war.

DAMN!

The courts will not settle this, not in any meaningful manner. It will be settled in the politicians backyards.
Prepare...Win!

I vote for the street. The fact that the govt. wants this slop is an indication of what they want to do with us. Next they'll want complete control over wages, BEFORE we recieve them. It's just going down the same road, and the only difference is, when do we get out of the turnip truck?

This precedent was conceded long ago in most (all?) States of the US (and, naturally in the UK) with the arguments re compulsory seat belt and crash helmet statutes. I continue to argue such statutes are an illegal, and illogical, over-reach but so far as I can tell I'm the vanishingly small minority.

Yet another judge's opinion I am happy to disagree with.

For more information, see Dennis Henigan's Lethal Logic: Exploding the Myths that Paralyze American Gun Policy (Potomac Books 2009).

This footer says plenty: f-n' anti-gunner, sob-sister, apologist for enemies of the American people.

Every time I mistakenly stumble over to HuffPo, I feel bile burning my throat. Henigan is typical of commentators on that site. The comments section is even worse with one useful idiot mentioning commie author Howard Zinn. He needs a tour of the "location that was once England", and to recognize that they are just 30 years ahead of us in creating a social, demographic and economic vacuum to be filled in as Dar-Islam.

Training and stockpiling is good.

Wimpy III-per, super X-per.

Cheers.

The damn Interstate Commerce Clause. If I have a bowel movement, it goes to a wastewater treatment plant, then a river, then the Chesapeake Bay. The Bay is managed by a consortium of states including Maryland, Pennsylvania and even New York. So I can't even take a sh-- without federal approval.
Is that living?
We can't afford health insurance right now. Not unless I get a full-time job with benefits, which seems unlikely. Obamacare will be around $730 a month for a basic policy. That's nearly our mortgage payment. Sorry, we can't do "Mandatory" even if we wanted to.
Standing by with my "arguments" prepared.

Look on the bright side, they took out the imprisonment part of the law, so they will just seize your tax refund.(if you overpay) This is guaranteed to keep the people pissing and moaning, but not shooting. Death by a million paper cuts, frog in the pot, etc. At least they are considerate enough of the proles put a little padding on the chains around your necks....We are already in the Gulag, and they never even had to take our guns.

Sadly, I fear you are correct, Sir.

What's especially onerous about this mess (as if it weren't bad enough on its own) is how we end up here.

The .gov passed laws saying hospitals must treat anyone who shows up.

This created a huge problem of people who don't pay for services rendered, and leaves everyone else paying more (and more, and more and more, and...) for medical care.

Which creates a "Crisis" the .gov must (and can only) solve with this "mandate."

And this is supposedly ok due to "the commerce clause."

Bottom line: If they can do this, then there's nothing they cannot do.

IF there's nothing they cannot do, then the Constitution is officially dead and all bets are off.

If the Constitution is officially dead and all bets are off, then it is (According to the DoI) our Right AND OUR DUTY to throw off this tyranny.

No Constitution = no originating powers = no presidency or congress.

When the Constitution dies, the government becomes invalid.

Same sort of thinking goes with suspending the Constitution. If it is suspended, so then is the mechanism for political office, and all such offices are suspended as well. The Office can NOT exist without the Constitution that defines its powers.
