End the Assault Book Fair Loophole! Any bets on the title of the book thrown at Obama on Sunday?

Next up for the lame-duck session of Congress: The Nancy Pelosi Assault Books Ban, requiring background checks and government permission to buy, own or trade in assault books. End the Assault Book Fair Loophole!

No books that have a capacity over ten pages or with covers that fold.

Late breaking followup:

White House staff and representatives from the NSA have announced that effective next week, all persons in the US are prohibited from owning books without a permit.
The fact that they can potentially be used as missiles and the fact that most of them are shipped interstate, thus making them subject to the famous “Commerce Clause”, means that the government has the authority to ban all books except those in public libraries, which may no longer be removed from the premises.

Justice Kagan, offering the official legal opinion, said tonight,
“People don’t NEED books! At one time, people had to read books to become informed and educated, but in the present era, the government will tell people what they need to know, how they should think and what they may say or do. There is no need for anything as potentially dangerous as a book to be in private hands!”

Should have used a bigger book.

The book was probably "Common Sense" or possibly "The Federalist Papers". However even had they hit him, it would not have been able to knock some sense into him.

Looks about the right size for a pocket Constitution. Its aimed at his melon and he's still oblivious to it.

Looks like Obama was further to the left than was expected :-)

Must be a pre-production copy of "Absolved" - and they're flying off the shelves!

No - your book is right on target - and it's gonna leave a mark.

Too bad it was not the 3000 page social-ist health care bill that was thrown at him

Normally I would opposes such heinous government overreach. Not to mention all the legitimate self-defense uses of the assault-book. But this time it is clearly, "for the children."

Giving him "the bird." Looks like a swan on the back cover?
A black swan signifies a very unlikely event.

Politico.com says: "As Obama has steadily increased his outreach to African American voters over the past month. With interviews and campaign stops targeted at the black community – “our community,” as the president likes to say – he has sent a clear signal that this election is about him and his record.

“Two years ago you defied the conventional wisdom in Washington,” Obama told thousands of screaming supporters Sunday at a campaign rally in a predominantly black area of Philadelphia. "

How is this not "Raaaayciiism!"?

Looks like the fucking Lock Ness monster on the back of that book. Nessie must be out to get Obama.

CNSNews: "The Obama administration gave corporate giant General Electric—the parent company of NBC--$24.9 million in grants from the $787-billion economic “stimulus” law President Barack Obama signed in February 2009, according to records posted by the administration at Recovery.gov. Despite getting $24.9 million from U.S. taxpayers, GE decreased its U.S.-based employees by 18,000 in 2009, according to the company’s 2009 annual report. According to Standard & Poor's, GE took in $156 billion in revenue in 2009. GE was the primary recipient of 14 stimulus grants..."

Obama said he'd reward corporations that PRESERVED American jobs. Still says it.

It was reported that it was an author just trying to get a book that he wrote to Obama.

Sometime sounds fishy about that, but whatever.
