Regarding the second article, Mike, I think that's another one for your "Law of Unintended Consequences" file. I notice that the media still want to refer to those unassimilable migrants as "refugees."

I see that Russia has warned that at least 600 Syrian rebel fighters have turned tail and are heading into Europe. The plan continues unabated.
