This is what it boils down to.

Thank-you Mike! I finally got my shirt a couple days ago, can't wait to wear it to our next III% meeting. =) We are the 3rd Battalion 3% Irregulars of Ohio.

God bless,
Brad from Ohio

We have the God given right to discriminate against anyone we want, including gays and bakers and any other minority we loathe.

Please explain the meaning of that.

And just what will they do when folks tire of the dictation to the point they pick up their rifles, turn around and say "Uh uh!"?
Will they shoot first - over THIS? I am doubting it.

Time for the States to Declare Independence From the Federal Government

“Take this Supreme Court decision and shove it.”

It's a shame they even stole the rainbow from us too...

In the novel UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES, the author penned a very prescient observation: "...stripping motivated people of their dignity and rubbing their noses in it is a very bad idea." This is where we are at right now. I am sure that patriots will arise and help the two bakers in The Peoples' Democratic Socialist Republic Of Oregon pay their fine. It was just so after the Boston Tea Party when the other colonists sent aid and money to Boston after the Brits shut down the Port.
But, the larger issue is not the cake. It is shoving a Godless, deviate lifestyle down the throats of Amerika's children. How many parents will put up with that? Sadly, a majority already have. But the remnant will not. Get ready.

Two gay folk walk into your bakery and order a wedding cake.

Take the contract, ensured by a hefty non-refundable deposit, and proceed to bake a cake so ugly no one in their right mind would want to claim it as their own (you're an artist; you can do this, right?).

Problem solved and win-win.

I would go ahead and MAKE their damned cake. And when they come back and complain later, I would explain "Sorry. I must have put SALT instead of SUGAR in it. How about that !".

Same way with the wedding photographs. "Sorry, but the lens must have been smudged. Hmmm."

Sorry rexx and Not Me, while I understand your concept of righteous indignation and low grade sabotage, in the long run that will not work to our advantage (it would give a bit of revenge but probably petty at best) and quite likely result in lawsuits and even further persecution by the gummint. What would probably work better is to sweetly accede to their demands while calmly explaining that you do not agree with nor condone their life choices but you will comply with the law. By showing Christian love and patience, we would be doing more to further our cause than any other tactic we could employ. That verse about heaping coals on their head comes to mind...........;-) Of course, feel free to do what you feel motivated by the Holy Spirit.

Ignore the fucking fine and bring this thing to a head. I'm certain the good folks in parts of Oregon would rise to the defense of these folks. Enough is enough. Sorry, you're right to celebrate your gayness ends at my right to exercise my religious beliefs and you will need to kill us to force compliance. Of course it might not work out how you Commie scum thought it would.

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

If allowed to play out to its historical conclusion, the gun to the heads of the faithful is coming. The only question is, 'when'?

@ Plinker @ 9:13 pm on July 5th,

never. we will instead likely die from a distance in combat. Bullets slicing our limb or chest arteries and dying slowly through blood loss and shock rather than suddenly and painlessly as a coward.

I can hear all those Christian rifles being cleaned and readied for action.
