First let me preface this in admitting that I am not a McCrystal fanboy by any measure, and quite frankly I take umbrage with a few of his examples. You may too, but do not let that detract you from the message. There are so many leadership and group dynamic lessons here it may take a few passes to fully absorb the wisdom. It is because of that I will submit this link without much commentary. I would recommend that readers bookmark this link and review the lessons periodically as we delve further in the subject.

America is Running Out of Time!
Founder and Director of Oath Keepers Stewart Rhodes urges all Oath Keeper chapters across the country to hold an Emergency Summit by state, in order to prepare for an economic collapse.
Nearly 100% of officers above Major are POLITICIANS. They have to be to get where they are. Therefore "General" is not only lacking my trust should raise red flags with the American People as well.
Last Generals I put any trust in was Ike when he WARNED all Americans of the Military Industrial Complex (which they ignored), and Smedley Butler who exposed exactly who the US Military REALLY works for.

Do not let the guy's faults detract from the message. Something can be learned from anyone and there is a great deal you can learn from this guy.
Stan was a tool when he was on active duty-- and he's a tool now.
