Well, it's nice to know where we stand in their eyes. I guess this means it's okay to kill us.

Harkin: Tea Party 'every bit' as dangerous to nation as the Civil War.
“A small group of willful men and women who have a certain ideology about how our country should run and what we should do cannot get their way in a normal discourse and votes,” Harkin said. “Since they can’t get their way, they’re going to create this confusion and discourse and hope the public is so mixed up in who to blame for this that perhaps they’ll blame both sides.”
“That is the path they see for taking over the government. It’s dangerous, very dangerous. ... Every bit as dangerous as the break up and the Civil War.”

Not dangerous enough, evidently.

They just can't see or accept that most of those of us they hate and fear so much have zero interest in "taking over the government." All I want is to be left alone, not robbed or coerced/murdered or defrauded.

This time the outcome will be different.

Interesting that we're at the point where suggesting that the Congress exercise its Constitutional power to defund a program and repeal a law is now considered equivalent to civil war. The political class has gone genuinely insane in its panic.

As Billy Beck has taught us
"All politics in this country is now merely rehearsal for full-blast civil war."

Even idiots like Harkin know that we are in a civil war (and have been since about 1913). They are just angry that we are now recognizing it.

What's happened to Billy, by the way, he has not posted since April?

All I can say is: "Projection".

All the garbage these Leftoid dolts accuse conservatives of doing is EXACTLY what the damnable Progressives are *THEMSELVES* doing.

It's a little concerning, too, because the Almighty Government types have managed to persuade Big Military that we-the-peeps ARE, in fact a real danger to the Republic.

That "Challengers From The Sidelines" published on West Point's CTC website is one indicator. Then there's Homeland Security announcing that Americans who believe in religion &/or the Constitution and/or smaller government are potentially violent terrorists. (And from the way that our increasingly-militarized police have been acting recently, it seems they are QUITE willing to shoot civilians without provocation, knowing that the Review Boards will exonerate them later because "I felt THREATENED"!)

Many of Alinsky's Rules/Tactics For Radicals apply.

But, here's * RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

Freedom & Liberty has the collective fearful. I'm inclined to think we're a very powerful idea whose time has come and it scares the progs to death.

Stand your ground, Patriots. Stupidity accompanies DNC..

And if the South had freed their slaves (and escorted them North) before firing on Ft. Sumter, Harkin would be singing a different tune. One of praising the Confederate States of America. What a hack!

Dung Heap Harkin might want to watch what he wishes for. The mistakes of the past internal conflict of which I am a student will not be repeated this time around. With G4 warfare accepted by those we oppose this speaker might want to rethink his desire for an armed conflict with the citizenry. Even though this replusive piece of shit is retiring that will not make a difference. Treason like murder has no statute of limitations. As such he will be scheduled for his day before the Court of the People. And he will receive the sentence that he deserves.

Unlike the last war were the loser fought a defensive war, this one will be offensive, you got to take it to your enemy, their is no defense that can't be overcome.

Ah... choosing between tyranny or anarchy. Some must control others via government, yet some just want to be left alone by their government.

Goldilocks had it right.

Anyone else get a laugh out of a member of the party of the Confederacy and the Ku Klux Klan using the civil war as a means of attack against his opponents?
