You've got to give the guy credit. At least he's trying something the Dead Elephants refuse to.

Ted Cruz filibuster tops mark set by Rand Paul; Texas senator wants to stop Obamacare.
As dawn broke over Washington Wednesday morning, Sen. Ted Cruz still held the Senate floor, 16 hours into a filibuster designed to draw attention to the GOP’s effort to defund Obamacare — and topping the length of Sen. Rand Paul’s filibuster earlier this year.
“As difficult as it is to cross one’s party leaders, I say — with perhaps a little familiarity to the consequences — that it’s survivable, and ultimately it’s liberating,” Mr. Cruz said in the early morning hours of his talk-a-thon, which he began at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and showed little fatigue at 5:40 the next morning.
Over night he read excerpts from both Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” and from Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham” on the floor, cited approvingly the words of wisdom from actor Ashton Kutcher and hit TV show “Duck Dynasty,” carefully sipped water, and grabbed a quick snack at one point while fellow filibuster leader Sen. Mike Lee asked a 45-minute-long question, giving the Texas Republican a chance to stretch his legs, check messages on his iPhone and confer with his staff.

The feckless GOP elite are scared of Ted Cruz because he's breaking the strangle hold they have long held.

This day he may well be the most despised man in Washington D C but he is the most loved and admired by Patriots. Cruz is saying and doing what so many of us have wanted said and done for decades. It's about time!

The founders and framers self. Evidently recognized that just power comes from the CONSENT of the governed. To exact this point, the peoples money was protected by the default answer when disagreement provided gridlock is NO! The HOUSE, which belongs to the PEOPLE, was empowered with the call - meaning all state governments can be unanimous in desire and the PEOPLE can STILL say NO be REFUSING to provide funding for X Y or Z.

THUS, the UPPER chamber, the HOUSE, holds the authority to DENY funding for Obamacare no matter how much Harry Reid cries and lies about it.

So who's ass is Cruz kicking the most? Why, the silent speaker, old yellow stain himself, john boehner. Ironic isn't it? It's from within the Senate, the LOWER chamber, from which the schooling of Boehner is coming and the POWER of the house is being exposed as not being wielded by the supposed leader of the majority party that CLAIMS to be the defender of the Republic.

Democrats and Republicans alike fear Cruz because he is showing the American people, the parties, the media and the rest of the world that standing for the CONSTITUTION is possible and the sky doesn't fall and the world doesn't end when a courageous soul actually does it from within government on the record for all to see.

The question now becomes - which choose to stand with him and which choose to oppose him. Notice that Sarah has turned up the heat too. I offer this to the GOP establishment. Get with those two or be run over by them and the army of joe six packs walking right beside them. We The People - the freemen who exist everywhere HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
