Steller: "Let's learn something from Guerena killing."

For more than two years, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has steadfastly defended its performance in the investigation and raid that led to the death of Jose Guerena. That continued Sept. 19, when Pima County and other jurisdictions settled a wrongful-death suit brought by Guerena’s widow, Vanessa, for $3.4 million.

Of course, so did Nazi soldiers at Nuremberg. After all..they were only "following orders". Fact is..the SWAT team mentality requires a member to use that ONE neuron between his ears during assaults..to fire his weapon. THINKING is of course, impossible..it takes TWO neurons.
As sad as this episode of STAZI THUGS-GONE-MAD is, this little tidbit of info made me laugh...

right. vs WHAT? "Legally" conducting a criminal enterprise???

DOH!! ummm, I forgot. That's what SWAT teams are.

The only part of the video that sticks in my memory two years later is the thug that ran up to the doorway, shoved his pistol over the shoulder of the cop standing there, and fired some "me, too" shots blindly into the home.

Any resolution that doesn't include attempted murder charges for the badge toting POS I just described is not a just resolution.
