From recall to repeal?

“While we consider Tuesday’s election a significant victory, we realize that these egregious gun laws remain and we want to know where each and every Colorado state legislator stands on them,” said Jennifer Kerns, Spokeswoman for the recall effort. “It is a new day in Colorado and constituents expect their legislators to represent the will of the people. No one is immune from the reach of the grassroots efforts which powered these two recall elections.”

Could that Recall Vote be considered a WAKE-UP call for other elected officials? I view that like the reaction you get when you poke someone with a stick.

I wish them much luck. The wife and I cancelled plans to move to Colorado even though we love the state b/c of the latest round of gun control laws.

I'm not sure we'd reconsider moving if they repealed these latest infringements.....but we'd weigh the option.

I love it. They've shown that the citizenry means business and that these recalls were just the beginning. And now they've officially put their representatives on notice.

Next round.
