Josh Horwitz engaged in a time honored, left-wing tactic, of switching the issue of discussion, from more guns, less crime, to background checks. I hope the commie POS, doesn't think his tactics are lost on people with more than two functioning brain cells. The shallow prick!
Just having & using a firearm DOES reduce crime. There was a drug dealer in my neighborhood that would have 60+ visitors per hour at late night hours (dead end street). After I shot a burglar (with my .38 special revolver) the drug dealer's girlfriend got so spooked that when she was in a traffic stop she ratted out the dealer. Last time I checked he was at a Federal Prison in Inez, KY. Sometimes it is the little things (like a .38) that actually work wonders to clean up a neighborhood.
