Iran "invents" the Cobra attack helicopter.

Just like Al Gore invented the Internet.

Looks like they blueprinted a
a cobra and built one of their own the way the Soviets did with B-29s we sold them in WWII. Japan did that with the Wright Cyclone radial engine which was used to power the Zero fighter. The Japanese engine was such a close copy that when an American did a restore on a Zero he was able to drop a Cyclone in the front end of the Zeke without any mods to the engine mounts at all.
