GOP congressman threatens impeachment if Obama uses executive action for gun control.

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement.

Actions speak louder than words! They should have nailed the Marxist bastard when he violated the War Powers Act of 1973 in Libya.

We need to get rid of this tinhorn and the nutjob in NYC.

I don't think impeachment is going to cut it. We have an emperor, not a president, and he is backed by a complicit press. This ballgame has already been called, the Republicans just haven't figured it out yet.

Our only way out is to restore power to the states.

Impeachment is not going to happen. It would tale 67 votes in the Senate to remove him from office. There are 55 Democrat senators. Not all Republians would go along either. Remember when they tried to remove Clinton? Only 50 votes for removeal.
The only way he goes before 2017 is his handlers come to view him as a liability instead of an asset.

Why wait?

Unfortunately, impeachment must begin in the senate, however that would not preclude a call by the house for impeachment.

In the process of impeachment they can sure check out that birth certificate and social security number far better than has been done before. Nothing like having subpoena power during an impeachment hearing.

We could get him impeached, all it takes is a simple majority vote. But impeachment doesn't mean shit. It takes 2/3 of the senate to remove him from office, and with the present makeup, that isn't going to happen. And then you'd have to say "President Biden". Even if you remove them both at once, then we've got "President Boehner". So it's lose-lose-lose all around anyway.

My recollection is that while Slick Willie was not convicted by the Senate the process did interfere with his capacity to create further mischief somewhat
