Considering the the alleged Newtown perp, Lanza, had TWENTY MINUTES before effective LE response, he could have as easily accomplished his "objective" with a single shot rifle ! Ergo the class//type of weapon involved wasn't a factor in the body count.

All that Newtown has presently revealed IMNSHO, is homicidal individuals "will find a way" ! Perhaps we ought to be thankful most opt for 'directed energy weapons" like rifles and hand guns.
