The gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters. (As denounced by Bill Clinton on CNN!)
ALICE Packs as bike panniers.
Interesting concept. As my kids have grown, I find myself with a few extra bicycle trailers- the kind you use to haul kids around in.While not exactly "tactical", they have their own qualities...AP
A military bike. Right, like you can even ride a bike, you fat POS.
another pannier you can easily make is to get a number of the square 4 gallon jugs restaurants and institutions get their fryer shortening in. Cut off the bottoms, there is a molded in straight line that is easy to follow with scissors, then clean them thoroughly. Load one with cargo, then slide into a second. Ropes or bungee cords from the top handle to the 'bottom' handle will keep them together, then they can be tied to the bike. You can hang one off each side of the rear wheel, one off each side of the front wheel, one from the handlebars and one on the luggage rack or rear fender for a a total of six. The tighter they are packed the stronger and more secure they are, forming monocoques.
Now I know what to do with the 100 plus Alice Pack frames that I have gathering dust, rather than cut them up to sell as Fire Starters since they are made from Magnesium.
Yep the VC bike. The bags are to far back if you have more than 20--30lb. in them. If y'all gonna run a VC rig place the bags over the center of ballance. Then PUSH the bike. The VC moved about 200lb PER BIKE that way.A much better rig is the M-3 push cart from ww2.Two men can move 200-300+lb of bulk cargo over almost any terain with one. They work realy well and leave the men hauling them able to fight. Check it out Mike. They are easy to make ,cheap, and sturdy.
This is a brilliant idea. They have bike trailers. Combine a back carrier and a trailer and one can carry his living stuff, food, water, ammo. That may be how all of us will fight in the future.
anon@10:19, why don't you sell them? A couple bucks each and you can buy some new gear that you need. I'm interested in a half dozen myself. Or ask some trades, we all have some extra gear.
Heya Mike,Check out this bicycle TRAILER I built. http://emergency-food-supply.com/uncategorized/why-i-have-a-bike-trailer/GIJeff
