More defeatist assholery -- ostensibly from a "libertarian."

"Here’s How it Will be Done…" (Firearms confiscation, that is.)
Why don't these defeatist pukes spend their time trying to figure out how to disobey, confound and resist their would-be oppressors instead of pushing the whole Borg "resistance is futile" meme?
Better yet, why not surrender their arms and ammunition to folks who WILL resist while they -- and we -- still have the time?

Too many people have been lulled into complacency enjoying the modern resurrection of the failed Roman Empire's bread and circuses appeasement society. As long as their cable TV (and, especially, the remote) works and the wide world of sports is beamed into their homes, why should they worry -- they still live in a free society. Birds in a cage, even a gilded cage, are relatively safe and snug -- except from the guardians -- and able to live as they like...under the discretion of the guardians. Modern Americans are the same way -- they don't see their loss of liberty, but rather they view it as gaining security along with all of the government cheese they can justify getting from uncle Obama.

These are the people -- now a growing majority of our populace -- the author is talking about not seeing anything wrong with "reasonable" gun control. They only worry about losing their entertainment, not their means of survival when the SHTF and social chaos reigns supreme. And most of those fools, while occasionally grumbling about government over reach, can never conceive in their carefully bought and paid for, programmed midget minds of their government doing anything that is "illegal." Seeing the government as good parents they rest assured that any rough spots are just for their own ultimate benefit and accept the proper application of needed tough love.

Reviewed the article and thot it was very well stated.

The window for serious gun control closed a long time ago. Guns are too common, and too easy to manufacture with no pinch points in the supply chain that can't be engineered around. Americans on the whole are too intransigent to fall for the incremental approach en masse and the NRA and NSSF raise too much money off of loudly militating against even the tiniest infringement. The most they can do is sow inconveniences.

People like "Eric",the author of this article, aren't "Libertarian's" or Second Ammendment supporters. They work for "Media Matters" or other left wing Boiler operations,to establish Blogs pretending they are conservative, then at the "Right" time, come out and try and depress and dispirit the Conservative Base by,"It's all over, give up".

Don't fall for this lefty pretending to be a Righty for one second. What self-respecting Firearms owner or Conservative would be willing to give up and be enslaved this easily?...They wouldn't. This guy and the other's like him writing similar articles are lefty trolls trying to get us to throw in our towels without a fight. It ain't gonna happen Soros, keep dreaming.

3D Printing will make it impossible for the government to control access to firearms. Even automatic ones.

This guy is giving up just as the tide of government is reaching its crest.
