The trip was exhausting, but I'm feeling better today. Am hobnobbing with my fellow Second Amendment wizards and cooking up more devilment for the Empire. More posts later today. (Note to blackbaggers: the house is still occupied so don't get your heads blown off while I'm gone. Or, do. Makes no difference to me.)

Welcome to the heart of it all &tm;!
It is vey good to hear that you are able to get out and about now. Being immobilized for any reason is pure hell, but health reasons are worse than hell. Having been there, and being still there to some degree I fully know the experience.
About the blackbaggers: several years ago some friends and I were going duck hunting. While we were out in the swamps, two of my friends were the victims of sneak and peek entrances to their homes. Under the law at the time, they were suppose to be notified within six months by the ATF, that the entrance occurred. Never happened. They view laws like Lenin viewed pie crusts; made to be broken. No surprise. The local SAC,a guy named Farentino, was trying to make a name for himself. No lie was too big or too small to tell.
Gosh - Swift: Imagine how much easier it would be to bust them now that we have easy access to cheap motion-sensor cameras that can record locally (thus giving off no real detectable RF - or at least no more than the device they're hidden inside...
Then there's the ease of auto-upload to Iinternet storage - whether wireless or wired - or maybe even simple transfer via phone-line to another location, or... or... or...
Such devices can be as small as pinhole cameras that can be hidden inside anything from a clock-radio, teddy bear, behind a picture on the wall, inside the door-trim looking out through a nail-hole, inside an electrical-outlet -- the possibilities are endless!
Now - to protect themselves - they'll have to cut power, phone and cable-lines, use a cell-jammer big enough to cover the whole property, cut the power then search the whole place with bug-detectors, and even THEN they can't be sure some battery-powered device smaller than a dime isn't still recording to local storage...
Whose paranoid are YOU?
