I bet you she had to skip a sleep over at a friends house since her mom had to drive 10 hours to get to that rally.

Happened to me with a particular church my parents went to. Once I had misbehaved enough, they stopped taking me, and then stopped altogether.

I ended up going to another church a year or so later with my friends, and ultimately had a blast since I had reason for being there.
