Democrats find way around restriction limiting the images on the currency to dead folks.

Dictators always put their images on currency. Here's a few samples:

Saddam Hussein

Kim Jong Il

Hitler

Of course, we currently have a restriction on images on our currency that limits them to dead folks. Thus, this has been proposed as a way around this aggravation for our "Dear Leader":

Barack Hussein Obama.

The only thing wrong with this is that Obama's hand is in the wrong position. Instead of pointing, it should be open; palm facing out. Someone should let the proposers know.

That image is a little too "photoshopy" for my taste. While I would not put it past them (not just a WHOLE LOT I'd put past those people - started to call 'em unprincipled bastards until I realized I didn't want to be unfair to unprincipled bastards everywhere) I would like to see some evidence on the image's provenance.

That being said, I expect we'll see something like this sooner or later.

Is that real or a joke?

Ditto on the real/fake question. I was thinking of printing off a couple of sheets of those and going shopping. If you go to the right neighborhood, there might be people who'd take 'em.

Of course, after hyperinflation and total economic collapse, the new currency won't be a national one and thus, no US restrictions on images or likenesses.

The only thing wrong here is that most of the Dolists are now using a gov issued credit card that gets "refilled" on the first of the month. I could see the dnc coming out with a new card with our dear leader's photo on it.

The Hitler note is fake. For the record, Hitler never appeared on any German paper money, and the only German coins struck with Hitler's image were some pattern coins that never made it to full-scale production. Almost all numismatic items you will see with Hitler's image are post-World War II fantasy items.
