I think Denninger has been reading my stuff . . .

Go here, read, and tell me what you think.

Most definitely...it appears you have another fan!

Yep. Keep writing.

It's a message good cops need to hear from 6 directions all at the same time.

Wake up and choose a side!

Cheers.

Mike, I saw that and thought "my, how the Irregulars' sphere of influence is expanding!" Karl also has a strong interest in firearms, and while he may not be 'mainstream', he certainly is ahead of the curve on this whole financial mess and the corruption of our republic. I'm glad he's reading SSI, and possibly even a III %'er.

An alternate theory is that a "real" American who pays any sort of attention would come to the same conclusion that we have.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure he's either a reader, or one of his readers makes sure he sees your stuff.

Him being on our side is both a goodness thing as well as a necessary one: I can tell you exactly how much I spend every time I pull the trigger, but the capital 'e' Economy? Forget it. If this whole mess finishes up the way we think it is, someone needs to keep watch over him; he'll be needed later.

There are no good cops.

If there were any police officers with the slightest sense of honor or fidelity to their oaths, we would have been deafened by the collective sound of their badges being thrown down in disgust at being forced to associate with the star of Mr. Codrea's 'Only Ones' files.

I read this last night over at Western Rifles and thought the same thing vi-a-vie Sispsi Street. It is a well written piece and does seem to follow your line of thinking.

"Great minds think alike!"

Denninger has been one of my daily reads for a while now thanks to Pete who links to him often. He's a great source for economic & financial news & opinion.

The word is getting out, slowly but surely.

The phrase, "dancing around the smoke and fire like some odd pagan ritual", recalls your most recent article. That and the general subject matter indicate that he is aware of your work.

Plagiarism?

Although, in this case, I don't think it matters, as long as the message is being spread.

I know he has read some of Mike's stuff because I traded several emails with him Friday night. Denniger is a good man and a world-class financial analyst. He comes from a slighly different analytical angle / framework than Mike does BUT he is reaching many of the same conclusions about what is coming in the near future. Karl is extremely concerned about civil unrest and even civil war in the US resulting from economic collapse and an corporate / elite oligarchy out of control.

Yes, Denninger may have read your post but a number of people have been coming to those same conclusions lately. Usually they make their points in shorter posts but the same points seem to come out all over the net. You and he have just done a better job of explaining the situation.

Read this yesterday before you linked it and thought of you.

While it's good to see others thinking about the relationship between the People and our government in this way, some of his statements on the economy are troubling to say the least. Anyone who believes in small government should get angry when they hear calls for prior restraint.

A man like that thinks he can control markets, that he can control men. Only fools buy into that tripe.
