In 2010, they said "Give us control of the House and we'll show Obama who's boss!"
So we gave them control of the house and other than 857 or so votes to repeal Obamacare they did diddly squat.
But, they said, it doesn't matter what we do in the House. As long as Reid & Co control the Senate we're stuck. Give us control of the Senate and we'll really show Obama who's boss. So in 2014 we gave them control of the Senate, and other than let the Import Export bank funding expire, they haven't done diddly squat!
And then they are shocked when people say all politicians are prevaricating liars and this time we're going to vote for an asshole who says it straight out.
I've been to Arlington. The number of grave markers up the side of one hill and down another as far as the eye can see simply cannot be captured in a description or photograph. Like watching the Daytona 500 in person the first time, it literally takes your breath away. The saying goes, "All gave some, some gave all." One thing I'm sure you can take to the bank. Not one of those symbols mark the grave of anyone who sacrificed so that we could vote for the lesser of two evils, or a candidate picked for us by The New York Times.
First, there is only one party. This sort confounds the statements. Second, I don't believe the data, or, at least the way the questions might have been asked in context of the entire survey. Pew has a history of bending numbers. Third, I see this overall pattern as most likely saying another thing--it probably was not asked directly. "take guns away from thugs?" or maybe "take guns away from urban ghetto dwellers?"
While my doctorate is in information systems (data analysis), one only needs a modicum of common sense to catch the smell of bullshit from this "poll."

Of course you are right. Many of us know that- but people are deathly afraid of our government masters putting the boot on their throat.
The best read of the week. Really. http://www.freemansperspective.com/wont-be-fixed/
But, but, but, Mike the Republicans care about freedom. We can't let Hillary get in. LOL.
You are right. No amount of voting for any party will restore freedom and liberty.

The poll is not right! It is a Lying "Push Poll", meant to Try and move the American people in a certain direction...In this case, more Gun Control!
Do not believe this poll for one second!

And I said as much on the article itself.
I don't believe this poll. This is propaganda. But as far as trusting an established party? Not easy! I'm leaning towards an outsider.
Can anybody say "tyranny of the majority"? Sure, I knew you could.
