I'd be interested in what exactly they think those jihadis are going to do...that place is all concrete and narrow road over the top. Pretty hard getting down to the bottom (generators/turbines) also. That ain't your basic TVA dam.
More likely setting up an ambush for zombies coming into AZ from vegas--sweet choke point. Maybe repelling party houseboats from the lake mead.
Just another buying ammo story--nothing to see here.
If it were 520,000 rounds or 5.2 million rounds it would raise my suspicions...but 52,000 rounds while sounding like a lot is actually a good training event for a security force of 52 officers...nothing here...move along...
So if at any given time there is 21 officers, times 3 for full shift coverage, that comes out to 63 persons or about 825 rounds per person. About the amount needed for most 2-3 day LETC type training courses out there.
I agree with a recent "anonymous" who said: " 5.2 million rounds it would raise my suspicions...but 52,000 rounds while sounding like a lot is actually a good training event for a security force "
We have to recall the attack on the power substation a couple years ago. (Just hours after the Boston Marathon bombing)
