We didn't spy on you, as far as you know. Well, maybe a little but there won't be anything you can do to us that we don't want done.

NOTHING in a fecal impacted bureaucracy happens without the uppers putting it into motion. Just as the IRS was told which political groups and churches to target, so is the CIA targeting their erstwhile masters and overseers. This is all planned.

First off, so much news came out yesterday regarding the entire torture debacle, it's difficult to point to important data that pertains to the big picture. In that regard..I would suggest starting with this document that came out yesterday, as it underscores the rest of the story..
http://hosted.ap.org/specials/interactives/documents/points.pdf

Given that doc provides proof that CIA was torturing human beings prior to "legal cover their ass memo's" were written, whereby even Colin Powell didn't know(supposedly..un hun)but Ambassadors to the host countries where black sites were installed supposedly knew, I began asking the State Department whistle blower who would likely know how this could possibly be. Here is his response..
quote:"The key issue here is that Powell was kept in the dark. The ambassadors briefed overseas would realistically assume their boss in DC had already been briefed and would not see it as their job to pass things on. It is also unlikely that the ambassadors would be tasked with “asking” the host government if it was OK to open a torture site. Those discussions would likely be done by the CIA directly with the host country secret police, and State only informed at some later date after the deal had been done. State actually prefers that, keeps one’s hands clean and all that."unquote

To which, it dawned on me..
quote:"If the statement..”Those discussions would likely be done by the CIA directly with the host country secret police, and State only informed at some later date after the deal had been done”..is true, then this means either ONE of TWO things.

One, the CIA was operating on orders from the Executive Branch…

or Two..the CIA is a totally rogue agency, operating on it’s own initiative outside the boundary’s of it’s mandated legal authority.

Either way, someones goose is cooked..as that PDF is LIVING PROOF that torture unequivocally took place. All that’s left is..who is going to be left holding the bag..either figuratively speaking, or by prosecution. ONE OR THE OTHER.

On the other hand, it has been suggested this morning that no where within the "torture" report, has the word "TORTURE" been used.
Whudda thunk. After all, the entire edifice of American "exceptunalism" and it's mythical "values" are at stake. And the PTB are not about to let those get tarnished.

I have no problem with the company spying on Representatives or Senators! The SHITHEADS HAVE IT COMING!

Now, if only the American public could hear the results of their efforts....

But it takes an Edward Snowden to accomplish that, and then you really begin to see the truest nature of both government and the media..... CIRCLE THE WAGONS, STANDBY TO REPEL BOARDERS, TAKE NO PRISONERS, DIE IN PLACE.

I am disposed to believe in the goodness of the average man and woman. Observing any of the aforementioned people, dissuades me and convinces me I am in error.

What part of "figuratively" wasn't clear? Meanwhile, there are Congressional calls for Brennan to be fired. Not what I call "cooked" but it's a start. Personally, I'd prefer hanging from a gallows. However, it all depends on the mood of the Dumbest Country on the Planet. After all, even the oligarchy in France didn't see it coming.
