It would be nice if folks out there who may be or could possibly be in the know. This is a good peice of intel and would deserve a follow up especially if there is a storage facility mentioned.
Always good to know the location of your local walmart incase things go silly.
" requirements for foreign non-standard, U.S.-obsolete, and commercial weapons, commercial ammunition and accessories."
Hmmm. That probably includes AKs and ammo for them. Almost sounds like they have plans to arm people around the world with weapons that are difficult to trace to the US, sort of like Charlie's War. In any event, it's good that this stuff is being brought in and stashed in the homeland. All our threeper guys with AKs will be needing ammo at some point when the domestic shit hits the fan.
Or is it that American are buying so much of the domestically produced ammo and weapons that government orders are being backlogged. If this is the case, let's hear it for our patriotic domestic ammo and weapon manufacturers!
Maybe the current administration has so badly destroyed trust with former allies that prospective new ones desperately need not to seen as being armed or supported by America now. Bad things happen to them when the tides roll out again.
its USSOCOM...for years they have done this type a work. one of the primary missions is foreign internal defense. SF units go around the world training host nations on how to defend themselves. this is socom's bread and butter mission. so they need to be able to have munitions to train those countries and also to outfit our boys when they need to with foreign weapons....unwrap the tinfoil gentlemen, they have been doing this for decades....everyone is now paying attention to fedbizops because of the other agencies wanting ammo
