Torpedo Los! The last four fish fired in the Toys for Totalitarians campaign: Josh Horwitz of CSGV, Dan Gross of the Brady Bunch, Josh Sugarmman of VPC and Ron Pinciaro of CT Against Gun Violence.

The last four fish fired in the final salvo of the Toys for Totalitarians program hit together today in a time-on-target delivery. Josh Sugarmann of the Violence Policy Center (he of the invention of the term "assault weapon") received his at 3:30 PM Eastern and was signed for by A. Palmer. Dan Gross of the Brady Bunch got his at 3:28 PM and was signed for by L. Pena. Government-monopoly-of-violence advocate Josh Horwitz of CSGV received his at 7:43 PM Eastern Standard and was signed for by "J JJ." Ron Pinciaro of CT Against Gun Violence had his delivered to his PO Box in Southport CT where it is awaiting a signature.  Let the howling begin.
Here is the letter that accompanied them all:

Re: Your award in the Sipsey Street Irregulars Toys for Totalitarians Campaign.
Congratulations! Enclosed you will find my belated Christmas gift to each of you, one twenty-eight-round standard capacity AR-15 magazine in 7.62x39 caliber, manufactured by C Products Defense, Inc. of Bradenton, Florida. You have been awarded this gift as part of what my friend David Codrea calls my “Toys for Totalitarians Campaign.” We had a few magazines left over after sending them to the governors of Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland and New York (and various other domestic enemies of the Constitution from among the ranks of state politicians and so-called journalists), so we decided to select a few of the most egregious collectivist citizen disarmament advocates who likewise deserved our scorn, and you four tied for first place!
I selected a magazine for you in the caliber of 7.62x39, for that is the round originally designed for Mikhail Kalashnikov‘s AK-47. Given your tyrannical collectivist politics, I thought it was an appropriate choice, since Kalashnikov was an unrepentant Soviet to the end of his days. (Kalashnikov, of course, just crossed over to meet his Maker. I’m sure his conversation with God about Stalin was an interesting one.) From one collectivist to others, I thought. Dulce et decorum est.
Anyway, now that you’ve accepted a piece of technology that is illegal within the confines of the District of Columbia (and the state of Connecticut) you are in violation of the law. Why don’t you all go down and turn yourselves in for arrest. I mean, if you are intellectually honest you would, right? Oh, wait, the terms “intellectually honest” and citizen disarmament advocacy cannot properly be used in the same sentence, now can they?
As for myself I will continue my campaign of armed civil disobedience -- including smuggling -- against this latest spate of tyrannical state laws. You should understand that there is no unconstitutional law that you can pass that we Three Percenters will not find a way to defy, resist, evade or smuggle in nullification of it. Of course you can insist that armed men come to our homes to work your violent will upon us, but then there’s no telling how that will turn out. Starting a civil war seems an odd way to “prevent violence.“ The central point is that we’re done backing up from the free exercise of our traditional, God-given, natural and inalienable rights to liberty, property and life. Your oft-repeated appetites for those will have to be self-curbed. That is certainly preferable to the alternative. May I suggest a voluntary twelve-step program for your power addiction as the kinder option?
Sincerely, and hoping you have a happy socialist Kwanzaa (a holiday invented by an FBI COINTELPRO stooge),

Honouring the Constitution is not breaking the law ... and 'ragging' the despicable is a sacred duty!

First they mock you - or is it - first they ignore you? Meh.
Ghandi was right and I look forward to the end - where they finally give it a rest and agree with you.

Mike, the silence about this effort is truly thunderous.
Not even one has has the guts to return it much less offer a response.

One more thing, have you considered sending just one more torpedo, to a particular reporter who interviews your blog? Such a delivery ought to draw a terse bit of "journalism" from her ......

As my WW2 subvet father would say, "All fish running hot, straight, and normal!"

LOVE how you are rubbing it on their faces.

Mike, you're a naughty one, heh. It's good to have fun with tyrants, eh?
