Roubini doom scenario: It looks like 1914 again

While Roubini is renowned for his bubble warnings and doom scenarios, his concerns weren't drawn out of thin air, but rather taken mainly from the lips of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Sean said...: War is never inevitable, though the belief that it is, can be one of its causes. Haven't read a self fulfilling, oxymoron prophecy like that in quite a while. I think "Yes, we can" was the last one. Can, being the operative word, meaning also, to can, to terminate, fire. Putin might play the part of Bismark this time, with Pres. This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done. The Founders' Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.
