Roubini doom scenario: It looks like 1914 again

While Roubini is renowned for his bubble warnings and doom scenarios, his concerns weren't drawn out of thin air, but rather taken mainly from the lips of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

War is never inevitable, though the belief that it is, can be one of its causes. Haven't read a self fulfilling, oxymoron prophecy like that in quite a while. I think "Yes, we can" was the last one. Can, being the operative word, meaning also, to can, to terminate, fire. Putin might play the part of Bismark this time, with Pres. OogaBooga only too happy to play the part of Wilson. What, China resumes unrestricted submarine warfare? Abe can be Churchill (First Lord of the Admiralty, in WW1)

Bismark was dead in 1898. WW1 started in 1914.
