A dental hygienist from Connecticut was the female driver who tried to ram her car into a White House barricade and was shot dead near the US Capitol after a high-speed chase through Washington streets Thursday afternoon, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Sources said Miriam Carey, who formerly lived in Brooklyn, was licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut and had a permit to work as a hygienist in Connecticut prisons. . .
A child believed to be a girl about 2 or 3 years old was found unhurt in her black Infiniti sedan, which had Connecticut license plates.
Authorities had no immediate explanation of the woman’s motive. But Capitol Police chief Kim Dine told reporters there was no reason to believe it was an act of terrorism “or anything other than an isolated incident.”
ABC News said the 34-year-old woman had a history of mental health issues. A task force of FBI and Secret Service agents was executing a search warrant at her Connecticut home, CNN said. . .
There was no weapon in the woman’s car and she carried no ID, ABC News reported.
How disappointed the blood-dancing hoplophobes must be. No AR-15. Indeed, no weapon at all save her car. Background checks for automobile possession, perhaps?

This shooting was inexcusable. I saw photos of the scene and there were a gazillion police cars there. The woman never fired a shot. So, why not use all those cars to block her in? Why not use spike strips to flatten her tires? The mind set of, "why do any actual work when you can pump her full of lead," is the new norm. Shooting use to be used as a last resort. Not any more. The Capitol police are NOT heroes in this. They are cowards, afraid of doing real police work like former generations of law enforcement did. A cowards act by a flaming POS!
Every time some shit like this happens, the Left-wing gun-grabbers always immediately assume it's a white guy, NRA member, Tea Party person with an AR-15.

So the Capitol building went on lock down when this happened....and apparently the public service announcement went out for everyone in DC to "shelter in place".....
"Shelter in place" is the new "Martial Law". They have so cowed the American people that they live and cower in fear when an isolated event like this happens.
Look at what happened in Boston. They locked down the city and searched door to door and the people LET THEM!
If you are not a coward and you don't want to let potential terrorists (real or media imagined) win....and you go on about your business after TPTB have told you to "shelter in place".....you are likely going to be a target of law enforcement simply b/c if you aren't terrified into hiding like the rest of the sheeple and you're out on the streets going about your normal life and business....then you MUST be part of the plot! Shoot first and ask questions later.

Iraq rules boys and girls any car that moves without permission and they make it a colander. You know that Washington has such a problem with suicide bombers, especially single mothers with their children in approved safetyu seats. The state requires instant compliance with all LEOs or death. Just understand the police can kill with immunity if you do not get it now when will you.
This just demonstrates a critical need for every man, woman, and child in CONUS to undergo a thorough background check as soon as possible.

Notice that the Navy Yard shooting as already been excised from the headlines. As this will be as well. Once more is found out about the woman's background I am sure that the Libs blaming the right will blow up in their faces as the Boston bombing did. The reason for the hot potato drop of the Navy Yard shooter is two fold. He was black and he was a supporter of the Kenyan Overlord. Remember how long the press worried over the dog bone of Trayvon Martin. Not this time. It was one of their own that committed the atrocity. We'll see where this one goes.But my bet is that it will be treated in the same way.
I have not seen any probable cause or even reasonable suspicion for anyone shooting that woman. No weapons, kid in the car; the "security forces" are now shooting people in DC for driving offenses. I am not sure if the injured officers were deliberately injured by her, or by trying to cut her off at the pass. Big media's reports of these incidents are increasingly incomplete and speculative. GC

Please, can we get Eric Holder on this case? It is obviously a case of racists shooting a defenseless black woman...her weapon, the car, had already been disabled. They just wanted to kill another black person!

The poor woman was demon-possessed, a fact that will never register with the "experts."

Until recently police were required to have justification before firing their weapons. Given that the Miriam Carey had already been stopped, wasn't confronting anyone, and wasn't armed, it's hard to imagine what justification there might have been.
Police also were subject to investigation after firing, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
Reminds me of those two women delivering newspapers who were shot by hysterical cops during the hunt for Chris Dorner.
U.S. military personnel in combat have much stricter rules of engagement than these thugs
This was internationally reported, by David Taylor, as follows:
"Washington went into lockdown yesterday after a woman tried to breach a White House security perimeter, triggering a car chase and leading to gunfire outside the US Capitol."
No where in the report was it mentioned that the woman was not armed or responsible for the 'gunfire'.
It was further reported that she was shot dead just "yards away from where members of Congress had just minutes earlier been debating how to end theUS Government shutdown that began on Tuesday."
