The Nation’s 25 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods

It’s always important to remember that crime is neighborhood-based, and one neighborhood can be as dangerous as Nigeria and the next one as safe as Sweden, depending on a whole lot of demographic and land-use factors.

Is the crime related to skin color, or to drug prohibition?

Yet another reason government loves prohibition, is that it supports their "divide and conquer" strategy. Folks, stop responding like Pavlov's dogs to this stuff.

Every year the Oregonian newspaper used to publish a big article collecting info on every murder for the past year in the city of Portland (which was nowhere near the number in many big cities, but still a concern). The vast majority of murders every year were related to drugs, and thus a result of drug prohibition.
