Anonymous said...: It sounds as if Stephen King is going/has gone the senile route of Andy Griffith (after his Matlock years). AG was spouting collectivist statist mental meanderings shortly before he died.
I have enjoyed some early SK, but never had the time & money to read him extensively. I guess I'll have to limit my reading to the early scribblings.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
