Lincoln's original call to service was at the point of a gun. The population of the Northern states was so against the Federal government's War Against the States, that they refused to go fight. So Lincoln gathered the regular troops to go to all the towns and farms in the north to kidnap the male victims to pursue his treason against the states. Many Northern states and counties formed militias to fight Lincoln's brigades. This went on for the firt two years of the Federal government's War Against the States, until Lincoln was able to convince them that ending slavery would solve the problem of black slaves fleeing to the North. Yankee's fearing a great black migration north, finally began supporting Lincoln's treasonous War Against the States and the Founder's Republic was lost to history.

All that I saw was the Wall Street Journal's advertisements and request to subscribe. Just more wasted time. Wish the article page had been posted instead of the link to WSJ.

Lincoln was the worst president in the history of the US government.

He was a monster.

He staged a coup d'etat and we're living with the results today.

Secession is the only answer.
