My wife and I planned to move to Colorado before these hysterical gun control bills were proposed.
Now, we realize that regardless of what is passed, the political winds in Colorado are leaning towards tyranny and therefore we will no longer be looking to relocate there.....nor will we be vacationing there like we've done nearly every year for the last 20+.
Vote with your wallet.....it's the last option we have before voting via arms.
Unfortunately McNultys gesture will do little or no good. First of all the progressives want to stop us from hunting, that is a win for them. Fishing .... they don't want us contaminating the woods with our filth ....right?
I doubt if the enemies of the Constitution give a shit about any loss of revenue. We are running our economy on the "printing press" standard and Washington will be happy to make up any short comings, along with large bonus for getting it done.
I appreciate the efforts but we have waited too long .. these measures might have worked a decade or 2 ago but now ..... doubtful
"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." - John Adams
So these masters of strategy reason that a hunting boycott will have some impact on the John Denver worshipping liberals who control the State government? Liberals who would just as soon see hunting and fishing abolished anyway? This borders on Joe Biden level stupidity.
Well $3B out of the lib's pockets may make them sit up and take notice. Of course boycotting the license buying system is all he's suggesting, if I read it right . . .
I emailed the Colorado governor as follows: My wife & I have enjoyed travelling to Colorado in the past many times but if you sign ANY of the gun control bills now considered by your legislature, I will NEVER spend another dime in your tyrannical state. You can email Hickenlooper by going to www.colorado.gov and selecting "Write to the governor" - Old Greybeard
Because of wht ppened in Colorado, I will be moving from here ASAP and reloacing to another state in the Rocky Mountain West that's still free of socialism and tyranny. I am a Native Coloradan, and some of my ancestors were living in what is now the US since before there was a US, and in Colorado since before there was a state of Colorado. Governor Chickenpooper caved into Michael Bloomberg's arm twisting and Bloomberg's become Colorado's de facto governor. Colorado used to be a Great place to live, and when I was a kid things were very different, but no more-the Californication of Colorado by "furriners" (anybody not born & raised in Colorado that is) have ruined this state, possibly forever, and I am no longer welcome in my birth state, and no one in government cares either. i gues socialists look out after their own, and hapless non professional, non nouveau college degreed oldsters like me either have to submit to the socialists edicts, or leave, or die by cop/military/fedgov goonsquad bullets. I choose to move, but this will be the first and last time I move to avoid dyranny. Next time, they will suffer the fate all tyrants ultimately deserve, and I won't be the only one who will deliver unto Caesar that which Caesar justly deserves. Sic Semper Tyrannis ! Molon Labe ! Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death !!!

Skip the wallet, get to what scary looking firearms were intended for!

(whistling, hands in pockets, looking skyward)
The correct way to do it would be to deny them the license revenue and then hunt and fish anyway.
But that brings the risk of prosecution most of us (myself included) are not prepared to afford. We have mortgages to pay and families to feed.
We let the statists get us over the barrel years ago. There is no easy way out of this.
It really is a win-win for the Libs.
Folks stop hunting/fishing - that's what the Libs want.
The state loses $3B in revenue - the Libs will just raise taxes.
But I certainly can't fault them for making the effort to send a message.

Poaching looks to become popular...

Er, I don't think that remains much of a consideration in the middle of a civil war.
