Connecticut gun maker stages rally against state gun control proposals.

The president of one of the nation's oldest gun manufacturers closed down his Connecticut factory Thursday morning and bused 400 of his workers to the state Capitol so they could personally urge lawmakers not to pass gun control legislation that they say could risk their livelihoods.

Yes Colt, your business will be affected.
It's time to man-up and tell the anti's that you won't supply or maintain their arsenals.
Tell the state that you will be welcomed with open arms by one of the Reds that still believes in the Constitution....their choice....Colt and its jobs or a gaggle of meaningless laws that won't save anyone.

Legislators in was once the, "arsenal of the revolution" , had best take heed. Its an unprecedented step for a major manufacturer to shut down production AND bus their production staff to the State House to protest threatened legislative anti-gun action.

Colt's CEO "gets it". He knows looming loss of revenues means hardship for his multi-generational work staff. He knows the impact a mandated move to a more salubrious venue will have upon his team and the "Colt Family". He also knows how the anti-gun legislative mania will erase decades of hard-earned brand loyalty if Colt stays in CT. >Jeff

Outstanding Colt, now if we could get them and the major manufacturers to stop selling to the Feds/State maybe they would figure it out.

I guess that is wishful thinking, they'd probably buy overseas then .... sigh

Anyway ... OUTSTANDING COLT
