For this old hunter the .223 is a POS. Might be OK with air support and a division of Marines.
Might as well throw in some carriers and their good stuff.
Old geezer.

"The allure of the AR-15 — the main gun used by the shooter in Newtown"
FYI - The Newtown shooter did NOT use an AR. At least not at the school. Contrary to initial reports, the AR never left the trunk of the car. He used two handguns.

Mayor Jere Wood is a member of MAIG as well. The last time I pushed him on it, he went on about owning a shotgun. When does this conservative city push him on the issue?

Some years ago you may remember that the good people of Puerto Rico insisted that the Navy operated bombing range on Vieques Island be closed. The Navy was eventually persuaded to close the range and began shutting down the support base at Roosvelt Roads Naval Station as well. The local folks were quite disturbed at the prospect of losing the jobs the base provided and wanted it kept open. It had to be explained to them that the purpose of the base was to support the range, not to provide jobs for the Puerto Rican people. No range, no base, no jobs!

Pay your money and take your choice, Folks! Run the guns out of your state and the companies that make them will either relocate or face a boycott!

Keep the guns and the jobs that go with them or run them both out!

Choose!

Remember the days when an AR-15 could hardly be found at gun shows? Maybe just 2 or 3 tables?

Then Clinton got it in his mind to make them popular. Really gang, where would we be without Clinton and Obama? Still checking the bore of some old pre-64 Winchester 70...
