Perhaps there's an institutional acceptance of shooting ones self in the foot from all those once dropped rifles?

Now they must move to fascism because socialism just doesn't work. The progression is inevitable and necessary.

Bravo Gerard Depardieu!

See, that's what it means to be rich. It means you have options. You don't have to just stand there and be shorn like a sheep.

I noticed the far right also (surprise, surprise!) jumped on the bandwagon condemning these people:
-----------
But Far-Right National Front leader Marine Le Pen said tax exiles like Mr Depardieu wanted to "have their cake and eat it", adding: "All these people general come running back when they have a health problem."
-----------
Fat chance!

"We cannot fight poverty if those with the most, and sometimes with a lot, do not show solidarity and a bit of generosity,"

Uh, it is not solidarity and generosity when it is handed over under force of arms.
