A lot of this going around, and it's going to get worse before it gets better (if it gets better).

And all that is for what Widener's still has in stock, which ain't much.
Before Obama, they had a walk in shop for locals. 2008 election slammed them so much they stopped that and kept them busy for 4 years.
Re-election decimated their inventory for weeks, and just as they were recovering...
The mind boggles at the amount of stuff changing hands.
AmmoMan's site is closed too, says for holidays plus backlog but I still wonder if maybe some scumbag in govt didnt apply some pressure somewhere, I've never seen it this bad before..
Goes to show you how serious people are thinking about their future as free men.
according to this it will get worse Friday.

Yank III,
At least as far as Widener's goes, the issue is demand, not shadow government pressure. I know some folks that work with Wideners, and they've told me about the demand that has stripped the shelves. 54R going out by the Pallate, etc. One was selling a consignment of ammo at a gun show this past weekend and was sold out of 10,000 rounds of 5.56 before 11am Saturday. Everything else took a bit longer, but sold out too.
Mother should I trust the government? If the government takes your guns, only the government will have guns.
One moe try. That "prove you're not a robot" thing is a robot. My comment, lost in space.
AIM is out of x39, but they sell out pretty quickly on a normal day.
WIdeners has always provided me with great customer service. Sometimes they are hit so hard, like now, they take awhile to ship, but I've always received what I've ordered.
I got that email from them yesterday on an order I had placed on the 10th (prior to Newton) that was shipped on the 17th. UPS is still scheduled to deliver tomorrow. It may have gone out to everyone who ordered in a certain window of time. They've been "sold out" of a number of things for weeks. At least they and some others have not raised prices like CTD has.
