A family was tied up in their own home when someone broke in overnight. One person ended up shot.
It happened at a home on North Wayside near Way around 1:30am. Investigators tell us four to six masked suspects claiming to be ATF officers barged into the home and held up the family inside. The armed men shot one family member and tied everyone up.

Oh come on! They wouldn't do that! ATF has never done anything like that! Nothing even remotely like that has ever happened! I choose not to believe it.
Oh! Wait a minute! You said it was thugs pretending to be good guys? Oh well, yeah... that has happened before.
Especially since it is now an offense to refuse them entry.
What ever happened to the 4th amendment ("Police! Search warrant!" crash of battering ram breaking down door)? The instructor in my CHL class (a current serving(???) peace officer) admitted that "no refusal" DWI testing is on shaky 4th and 5th amendments ground. When I called him on it he looked kinda sheepish and said something about a guy's needing to keep his job. I responded with my usual "I'd take a bullet for a cop but pigs ought to be shot on sight" line. He didn't say anything. I reckon because he couldn't. He refused to even consider going to Stuart Rhodes' site.
I am coming to the conclusion that when it comes to law enforcement officers, St. Paul in Romans 3:10 had the right of it.
"“There is no one righteous, not even one;"
If the Authorities can't knock on my door politely and serve me I will assume they are armed criminals and I will take as many of them out as I can. If they even make it past the claymores are the front door.
Cocked, locked and ready to rock!
Hammerhead Out!
If you are ATF or any 3 letter jack boots and you come into my place like that, you will be treated like an unknown intruder
Thats why we have rights, and rules..no warrent served?..come pick up your collateral damage!. Get these dead violators out of my place and clean up after yoursellfs, while your here leave a few million bucks behind to pay for your stupidity.
And if you take out any of my family in your stupid illegal act, expect to pay for it with your life, and that includes all my dogs
The family must be Branch Davidians.
As long as we're all "patiently" waiting for "Absolved", I recommend "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross. It includes lots of scenarios from ATF's greatest hits. Some you've heard of and some you haven't. It's out of print and used hardcover copies are going for $100.00 but I managed to find a .pdf of it on the web. Not sure if it's a "legal" copy so I won't post the link here. If I could find it so can you. If you're interested that is.
@ Anonymous: "Thats why we have rights"
The Clash had it right:
"Know your rights, all 3 of them -
Number 1: You have the right not to be killed. Murder is a crime, unless it is done by a policeman or an aristocrat . . .
Number 3: You have the right to free speech, provided you're not dumb enough to actually try it."
"How are you supposed to tell the difference these days?"
Ah, Yes! The ol' false premise trick question trick!
There is no difference!
Speaking of The Clash.

... said the nameless badass ...
Anyone that barges or attempts to barge into my place has made their last mistake... I refuse to be a helpless victim. I can't understand why more people aren't armed and trained.
